At Newhaven, you tender in from your cruise ship at anchor. It is about a 15 minute journey.

Newhaven is close to the port of Leith, so you may find the information for arriving there useful.

At the quayside, taxis and the local city bus will be available. The Tram, which runs through the city centre to the airport, is located 5 minutes walk from the tender arrival point. 

The Service 11 is the most direct route into Edinburgh, although the no 7, and 16 all pass nearby. As does the hop on hop off bus service.
